At Uncle Joe’s Fish Shed, every fish and frog we sell is legally sourced and ethically handled. We operate under a valid Aquaculture Certificate of Registration issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), and follow all Best Management Practices (BMPs) for water quality, disease prevention, and humane care.

We do not sell wild-caught native species unless they come from licensed commercial collectors in full compliance with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) regulations. —because transparency isn’t optional, it’s our standard.

No shady imports. No unlicensed resellers. Just clean, healthy livestock raised and sourced the right way. Under this same strict practice, we have no problems rejecting anything less than the best stock available, quarantining again, or in worst case, product that will never make it to market.
